15 students of New York State University came to visit SAU and had a wonderful time. They were warmly received and invited to a variety of cultural activities including Chinese dance, calligraphy, Taijiquan, tea culture, Tibetan Guozhuang party and so on. The visit culminated in the whole exchange when the Youth League, the Student Union and the IOEC of SAU held a grand evening party for the American students. This event is part of the program planned by Chinese State Councilor Liu Yandong, who returned an invitation to 224 teachers and students of New York State University to visit China for a dozen days. As we know in 2008 after the Wenchuan earthquake disaster, New York State University generously invited and hosted 150 Sichuan-earthquake-refugee college students as comfort. |
